I disagree with two points, Stealth, but I admit you -are- the master, and so feel free to correct me.

1. While standard laser turrets don't have the range to compete with artillery vehicles, there are other defenses that to. In particular, the ARM Cloakable Plasma Turret and Tachyon Accelerator both have attack ranges that strip enemy artillery of any advantage, but a Siege Howitzer does the job too.

2. In your diagram warning to "mix up" defenses, I disagree with placing anti-aircraft placements in a line formation, or anywhere near anti-land placements. Aircraft have a very lazy attack pattern, and spreading out flak cannons or long-range missiles AROUND your base is a much better idea than clustering them up, since an aircraft will never sit still for long.

1. This is true, but my main focus was on the Light Laser Towers because they are your FIRST line of defense (at Level 1). Your comm can spam them and such. Of course the higher level stuff can outrange arty, but my focus was more on the level 1 rushing and such. Should of been more specific (and is also why I said to mix it up, you should always have some sort of long range plasma up with your laser towers).

2. It's a small example to mix it up, the diagram I drew isn't very thorough though. Of course I spam the missile towers around my base, and not in a line with my laser towers, HOWEVER, this tactic is ALSO useful as demonstrated by Kain a few battles ago. He did have lines of AA on different sides of his base. What this does is create a shield, because once a plane flies over, all the missile towers shoot at once and take it out before it can get into the inner part of your main. Again, this is at level 1. One you have flak and SAMs, you should start spamming those around BOTH the inner and outer parts of your base. Clustering around the whole base won't always work as those heavy bombers can take a beating, you need a concentrated line of towers to take stuff out faster at times.

Another thing I found out is that when i was attacking a tower with my lvl 1 assault tank, it shot OVER the metal barricades. And yes, it was of equal altitude.

Normally, the plasma weapons have a higher trajectory. Dragon teeth work a lot better for Arm, since Core has the little laser tanks and bots. However, at level 2 there are walls, which block everything, including your shots :P
